got an offer from a Berlin startup for backend engineer position TC- base 55K YOE-1 #berlin
It's bad. Should be significantly higher. Keep in mind that taxes are pretty high too.
Excellent East Berlin salary circa 1976.
Germany has free health care don't they? Food and rent might be cheaper there, overall expenses might differ?
I’m in the US, and I have free healthcare. My company pays for everything.
There's no such thing as free healthcare, anywhere. One way or another, you pay for it. Taxes, lower wages, or crappy service.
It is bad. SAP will surely give at least 60k+ and significant benefits. AWS is probably paying more than 70-75k plus stocks.
I believe it is shit. For your experience I'd aim for 70k +.
Lolol Joker! Funny guy. 1 year experience he would be lucky to get 50k
Why how about tax there what will be his net salary and expenses per month?
