As the parent of almost teenagers, I feel this kind of area is a good deal. Like you get the high school without paying for the elementary and middle school parts.

This feels like a good home but the area looks bad.
I want to buy near this area so would like to hear blind perspective.

Asking for opinion in this area. This area is very niche like I tried to explain in my post. Not so good school district but the high school is decent. Also open to areas nearby. Since this area is niche I felt I could get a good deal in terms of better sqft

Lol every time people think anyone needs to game the system to sell anything in the Bay Area. Even a teardown sells in a week with waived contingencies.

Shitty expanded house in a shitty area. Honestly this part of Sunnyvale is only better than north of 101. Nowadays it's WFH or hybrid at the worst, why optimize for commute? For the same price, get a much nicer neighborhood in Fremont or Almaden.

Almost $2.4M for a less than 2200 sq ft home built in 1967.

Welp, I guess I'm a perpetual renter if I stay in Bay Area...

  • Bad schools. Most buyers want a good elementary. Also: train noise.

I used to rent in this area few years back. Good parks and great for walks in the summer.
