Below is a timeline of posts but here is the TL;DR:

1. I'm a Christian ✝️ and find peace in God with everything that's going on, I've been very bearish on the US economy for years but now am optimistic we can have real economic growth once this is over. 📈

2. This is likely going to be a horrible depression 😞📉👎that lasts 5-10 years minimum

3. The asset that I think will perform the best over the next 5-10 years is 🥇gold/silver🥈, and owning some of the physical metal at home is important.

4. My inspirations are Peter Schiff, Mike Maloney, Jim Rodgers, Jeff Gundlach, Ron Paul, Milton Feedman, to name a few

5. I voted for trump, but am disappointed with his big gov spending and overall response to COVID. Actions he's taking now are leftish and socialist, will likely only get worse as we get closer to the election.

6. The US debt is a very big problem, we'll either default, or more likely, debase the US dollar, and loose the reserve currency status of the world.

      Guys OP is right. God for OP is something permanent and keeps them grounded. Put it another way, it allows a person to take comfort that the unexplainable in our world can all be chalked up to God. In doing investing it is important to have psychological stability.

      Without disrespect to OPs religion or faith, believing in God isn’t always as crazy as some of you might believe. Sometimes it just keeps people sane

      Yeah just like how there was bubble during the 20s, Great Depression during the 30s and WW2 during the 40s. I think we are in similar time as 1929 except things will happen at much faster rate.

For all we know, OP could have have been some several multi millionaire living on passive income, and in that case, he’d be doing much better than the rest of us chumps.

    If only Republicans actually cared about small government, family values, fiscal responsibility.
    Turns out that they only want more money and get reelected. Nothing else matter. Fuck the debt, fuck Christian values, fuck the constitution, and please let's prevent non white Americans to vote at all costs.

    Thankfully they are the ones
    dropping yet another fat socialist bailout program for their corporations that already had a massive tax cut.

    That being said, this situation is a blessing. Probably fewer older Republicans and a deep crash allowing the liberal coastal elites to invest and make money.
    I really hope it crashes harder.
