Interviewed for T24 DataEngineer III role but I am currently working as lead data engineer(kind of architect). Not sure If I can ask for MTS1(not sure if iam eligible). How much TC should I ask. The HR is not at all interested to increase saying budget constraint. Please help me. #tech

How much hard I can negotiate? HR is saying that she tried for t25 but panel said I should be given t24. I have really done interviews very well. But HR says feedback is positive for t24. Any disadvantages going one level down as I am Team Lead in a startup from 2 years leading more than 7 engineers. Do you think its downgrade and will effect my career? I am close to getting another offer of 53L in Accenture as manager(all TC included) but its not competing as base is low and JB is high. I think paypal will turn down. Any tips are really appreciated? How much more can they extend for T24 level? Also am I missing opportunity of being manager in Accenture if I end up taking DEIII in paypal? My long term goal is to settle for FAANG in program manager/ Engineering Manager role. So will my job title effect my long term goal? Here in my startup I directly deal with clients/understand requirements/translate to team/code when required/give demos/build automatic code deployments etc etc. I felt that is the reason I would be right fit for program manager handling end to end project. But paypal is going to ruin my long term plan? I am confused. Any help is really appreciated.

And not sure why Paypal HRs are mostly take it or leave it sort of.
Maybe because most of these HRs are new hires with only 4-5 months in Paypal.
My advice would be to reject the offer, and tell them you need better package or T25 else you are not joining.
I learned from blind community that even if it is Google, dont join a level that you dont feel right.
As you are a final select and there are so man DE openings within paypal, mostly they will try to map you to other teams who are in need of your skillset. Obviously you might have to go through few more rounds of interview with the new team.
At first place, you might have actually not went for T24 interview, incase if you were targeting T25.
Based on my research within blind community, not sure whether YOE-9 can get T25, unless the feedback is too strong. But TC wise, definitely 50 LPA is very much possible for T24 also.

3) I was interviewing for hadoop to gcp migration. Asked about how should be done..best practices..followup questions.
Lasted for 45 minutes as she joined 15 minutes late.
30L for T24 is a decent one but RSUs are less.
