Hi All, In about 2 weeks I am starting at Alvarez & Marsal in NYC going into there portfolio valuation group as an experience Associate. I am super excited and happy to be going there after 1.5 years at EY. Does anyone have anything to say about A&M regarding anything such as culture, comp, benefits etc? I appreciate all input!
Congrats! Do you mind looping me in as well? Currently at deloitte in nyc and would be interested to hear what it’s like.
Definitely!!
TC or GTFO!!
Lol starting at $80k for an associate with a $5k signing bonus. Year end bonuses are a big part of TC
What’s your TC like after working there?

Congrats! I heard they work you hard but pay you well. Did you start in valuation at EY?
Thank! no I was in audit at EY and EY makes it so hard to move internal to different business practices.
Same in Deloitte. If you’re into restructuring/bankruptcy, A&M is one of the best. Not sure what your plan is tho. I would love to hear about cultural/systematic difference between A&M vs EY later on
