      I won’t pretend to have read the entire multi-part article yet, but from what I saw and looked up myself it seems like what you’re saying is there are now peer-to-peer lending solutions for crypto in which you can earn an APY. Am I close?

      I guess the major disconnect is that I don’t see crypto as a legitimately needed form of currency, at least not in our lifetime. However, I still plan to look more into this when I’m not a little tipsy celebrating a new job offer because if there’s a legitimate chance to make money with BTC whether or not I believe in it, I’ll stake some money on it.

  • Bull case is absurdly optimistic and idealistic. The characters pumping it at this point appear to be trying to protect their investment. I don’t buy fiat currencies so why would I buy something that has no tangible underlying value yet? Maybe it will have stabilized in 30 years but I’ll be long gone by then 😂

      You’re missing the paradigm shift of the millennium, comparable to the invention of the printing press, and you complain about volatility when BTC has been returning 200% a year for 10 years.

  • Too volatile, imagine I wake up with 60% gains overnight? that’d be crazy. I wanna be rich but it has to be really slowly because I’m afraid of money.
