Interviewed with MSFT in 2nd week of November. +Ve feedback from all the interviews. The email update said, "The team enjoyed the conversation and think that you are a fit for the Solutions Architect role" However, there are no open roles in your location at this time.
This has been the status since the 3rd week of November. Has anyone else experienced this? How long does it usually take for MSFT to open a role for an already "selected" resource, or do they just keep interviewing people with out any actual open roles?

Take heart, I have friends and colleagues who applied 10+ times and even did 2 or 3 finals before finally getting hired.
Application to hire rate is astronomical right now. IMO iCIMS also does some unwelcome candidate filtering - thats more on how hiring manager and HR work together. Not everyone is willing to look at near fits which can sometimes be some amazing candidates.
