LinkedIn Bias?

Feb 18 5 Comments

Does anyone else feel like LinkedIn is biased in the articles that are promoted? I always see posts/articles putting down competitors, but posts such as those containing negative reactions on RTO for Microsoft never seem to make it to my feed.

Wondering if it's just me. Insight from LinkedIn engineers is welcome.

Theyโ€™re doing sentiment analysis and promoting content that is more positive rather than negative. Itโ€™s better for their customers (hiring companies) that way.

If you want to look at negative stuff, youโ€™re on the right platform here!

The only way it could be unbiased is if LinkedIn never had software teams work on content feed. Impossible. So, definitely biased. Only question is, how biased is it?
