YOE: 5
Location: Southeast US (Remote for SF Office)
Role: Revenue Data Manager
Haven't received formal offer yet, but recruiter mentioned an estimate of $140k Base and $140k RSU (25%/yr) in the initial phone screening, no mention of sign-on or bonus. Seems a bit low and I'm not sure if it's because the recruiter was lowballing me or if DoorDash really underpays.
I also tried to ask about the position level (E3, E4, E5, etc.), but recruiter said she had no idea what I was talking about and that it was just a manager position.
Curious if anyone has any insights/experience with how much this could be negotiated up?

Anyways, how much more could they be negotiated up? Some of the other big tech companies for similar roles have offered significantly more in their initial phone screening. They're moving much slower with the process than DoorDash though, so worried about getting an offer from DoorDash and waiting for them. I've tried to tell them about DoorDash, but has done little to speed them up.
Be prepared to have minimum work life balance.
