I recently got an offer. I was hoping someone can tell me a bit about the tech stack of the team. Do they use any open source stuff?
I work at a startup and all the stuff I work using open source frameworks and I value that a lot as it will probably make my skills very transferable.
Also, I was wondering what are the languages used in the team? I’m not a Java or a C# person. It’s not the language but the environment - JVM and .Net. I feel they are somewhat outdated and boring (very opinionated point of view). Putting them in docker images, profiling in general can become a nightmare. I would rather be working in golang or python. Rust too...
The interview was very leetcode based and system design focused which is fine and all but would love to know the thoughts of odsp people on above things I mentioned.
