Being a software engineer ( more on the management side now, like delivery manager) I enjoy my life in NYC, however I’m considering to move Florida.
How’s the job market in Tampa or in Miami for example?
Does anyone have any experience from that area? Based on the job postings I see that market might not that hot.
Thanks in advance

So we can say that it’s hard to find a job and it could take longer while you able to land on your next position?
I highly doubt Miami has just as many opportunities as NYC and it has the same cost of living nearly.
Just test the waters but I would make sure I really liked the company before moving here
Is 80-110k scale good in Florida? What is the salary what you need to earn to have a convenient life ?
If you work in remote ( in other state) where are you being taxed?
I make 110k and live comfortably in Tampa. You won’t be able to afford South Tampa, but it’s definitely doable here.
In Miami, I wouldn’t even consider moving there for a similar salary
