Hi all,
I am looking for a remote job and have experience in K8s. Right now preparing for RHCSA certification and if possible CKA certification also. I have no admin skills at work, but good amount of software engineering skills.
I wonder what sort of jobs I shall look in Red Hat to maximize success and pay as well as I am hugely interested to work in Red Hat.

    • I'm also in the same boat 😂.
      Shits are everywhere, just be careful in which team you'll be joining.
      I would vote for any team who works with openshift where the budget isn't a concern.

    I don't think the certs are too relevant for applying at Red Hat.
    Right now I'm not sure about open positions around Kubernetes, but there might be something around some of the OpenShift products like Virtualization etc.
    Do you just have experience using or also building operators etc?

      Hey, thanks for replying. I am new to K8s customization. Operator is something I am learning these days for my work.
      May I ask what time of the year typically red hat hiring starts, so that I can aim and prepare for that? Thank you in advance.

      I don't know if there is a time. From what I know it's hiring when needed.
      Like sometimes a role opens up etc.
