WLB is great, base pay is great.
The problems, while more than what people think, are mostly not very challenging. There are a few that are challenging, cool problems, but there’s a lot of run of the mill work where we are a couple years behind and playing catch-up.
I honestly don’t have too many complaints.
Yes, we’re spending a lot of money on growth, but all the people who talk shit on that never seemed to see it as a problem when Uber/Lyft were doing it.
As for the CEO, we thought it was sketchy too, but just recognize that apparently $400m of it was loans that were repaid & $100m went to charities.

Honestly, it’s still a little sketch, but its also such a tiny share of his holdings. He still holds a huge stake in the company. The remaining $200m that he used to buy buildings and lease them to WeWork definitely rubbed me the wrong way, but allegedly he wasn’t trying to make a profit and has since sold the properties to either WeWork or elsewhere, allegedly.
