Investors should focus on the long term, not on daily fluctuations.

I've been hearing many predictions for Bitcoin. Where do you see Bitcoin going in the next 3 years?

@linkedin yes that’s true but it’s been true for the past decade. It’s a new thing that’s hard to understand.

Experts aren’t always right. If they were, there’d be no need for startups

I have no idea, my view point has been: bitcoin is a scam. But if people accept the scam to the point it becomes too big to fail, then bitcoin will stay, similar to, say, Picasso paintings or those million-dollar monkey-grade art pieces. Note that Einstein advised us not to underestimate human' stupidity.

    • @Google Yes, scams are there. They will bust when their time comes. Stock market is full of scams. Dot com bubble was full of scams. Amazon's share price fell from 107$ to 7$. Fundamentally strong cryptos will stay and thrive.
No matter how much you market you can't replace BTC or ETH with a copy of them unless you are adding something revolutionary. That marketing logic only applies on small caps.

    • "Scams" are more honest than "fiat". At least they don't use threats of violence to force you to buy.

Without the momentum and pump/dump mentality of its current value, no one is even remotely trying to use it as a currency, therefore it is little value in my eyes.

If I had to guess, the pumping is going to slow and in every trade, someone wins and someone loses. When BTC/other cryptos take a fall, my guess is that it will cause a cascade of other cryptos to dive as people lose a ton of my money like they did with GME/AMC.

"wants to make quick buck at everyone else expense". So true. I bet majority of crypto owners are secretly like this vs actually believe it. Or they have to believe it because they are too deep in the game.

@intel I'm actually kind of scared with how aggressive some of these crypto investor/gamblers are. Things will not end well once/if there is a major crash later with ripple effect in the global economy.

"Below $50k" should be split in more sections like <100, 100-1000, 1000-3000, 3000-6000, 6000-15000, etc All above 100k can be compress to >100k

That way you can get much better statistics
