Why should Modiji not be next PM?
For thoose investing in WealthFront what % returns have you got over last year. I understand it depends on the risk profile you choose but I want to get a range.
30%+ since Oct 2016
I really hope you're serious
Why wouldn’t he be. Thats very realistic.
36.4% money weighted. I went with their 10/10 risk tolerance plan, worked out so far I guess.
Make that 20% as of today lol
I don’t understand the money weighted values there. I have an account with 10000 in there. And right now it’s 10200. So technically it should be 2% money weighted right? But wealthfront says it’s 14%. Can someone please explain me the math?
53% since Jan 2016 with risk score of 9. PM me if you need a referral.
What is the benefit of refferal
You will additional $5k managed for free, so total 15 k managed for free
Asking what percentage returns a robo like Wealthfront or Betterment got is a weird question and shows you don't understand their goals. Wealthfront does not attempt to beat the market. What you get is a diversified portfolio that IS the market. When market is up like crazy (like lately), you'll get crazy returns. In bad times, you'll get bad returns. The diversification will minimize yours risks though.
Well I do not like to invest where the performance is defined as “crazy returns” and “bad returns”, Lolzzz I got other responses that were helpful, Thanks but no Thanks
I presume risk management is a given, you just don’t want to be losing too much compared to market.
Basic question, Wealthfront is after tax risk management tool? I put my aftertax savings in stocks and manage by myself, what advantages foes wealthfront provides?
Yes its management
Why are you asking about returns when the economy is strong? Having great results now doesnt prove much.
Would the gains be any different than buying off vanguard ETF with a commission free brokerage?
15% time weighted since April 2017
Kicking this thread to get recent numbers. My risk profile is 9/10. Funded account in May 2018 and performance has been -1.9%. Emerging markets and international stocks have taken a shit from Trump’s trade war. So far enjoying vanguard much more. Guess we will see how things look in 2019.
I though Wealthfront was mostly using Vanguard funds in their portfolio. What do you mean you enjoy Vanguard more?
Simple. With vanguard I choose my funds myself and have had a far better result in the same period of time compared with wealthfront.
Sofi wealth management 11% over 3 months.
