I don’t know who needs to hear this but Amazon gave one more reason for designers to stay away by hiring a tyrant from Nestle. The worst Creative Director I’ve ever worked with. Don’t say I didn’t warn you! #design #amazon #nestle

      So many reasons… He was dismissive and rude in meetings, particularly with agencies to the point where everyone on the call would always feel uncomfortable. No one on the creative team or cross functional teams within Nestle respected him or wanted to work with him except for one person who was his pet favorite. He was all over the place when it came time to focus on what needed to get done. He was horrible at communication and disseminating information to the team. And when he did, his delivery was off-putting. Sometimes wouldn’t even answer emails or IMs. And every 1:1, you never knew which person you’d get - the tyrant or the funny guy. It was an anxiety inducing place to be because of him. Most other teams at Nestle were pleasant to work with but very old school in their ways, which you’d expect at a large CPG.
