Hi all! Looking to join a smaller company and heard great things about Plaid.

What’s the company culture like (top down, WLB, openness, etc), specifically engineering?

What is compensation like for a senior engineer, L5? Is there yearly refreshers, bonus, 401K match, etc?

What’s the interview process like? Is it heavy leetcoding? How would you recommend preparing if it’s not?

~$410K vested + maybe like 7-10% due to oncall

    We have a super amazingly talented and very smart eng team. I am probably biased but I’m really proud of the people we are hiring and the work they’ve done in the past. Hiring a ton of people from FAANG and hot startups. Culture is great imho. We have off a couple times per year for long holidays, company retreats, and comp+equity is competitive. We do not have a 401k match at this time. There’s definitely a start-upy feel (I came from FAANG too so very different than what I am used to) but I love the opportunity to build and impact at a very fast scaling Fintech.
