interviewed for staff; skipped HC after phone screen to get onsite ASAP, but it has now been a few weeks and havent heard of anything yet (recruiter wasnt very good...) onsite went fairly well, maybe 1 didnt go as well as expected but also had some slam dunks... what to do? already followed up with recruiter tc 270 yoe 10

Headcount issues. It’s their fiscal year start since they follow Microsoft’s calendar.
He has 10yoe though. We should have headcount
This is what has worked for me: I try to follow up at most twice after the interview. If no response, assume it’s decline and move on. It helps me avoid stress of waiting and imagining scenarios. I try to find other opportunities and prepare to interview there. If recruiter comes back it’s bonus. Plus they realise you’ve other options so won’t try low balling at that point.
Problem is hc in LinkedIn. They keep on interviewing even if hc is not available and will delay you for team matching phase
