Linkedin usually promotes internally a lot and brings in outside people at lower levels. I have a friend with 6 yoe who's a senior eng manager. And they interviewed me (also 6 yoe) for senior eng saying staff would be hard to get.

LSM team. About 10 reports. I am in EM role with 2 years of people management exp.
This is a good offer, not stellar but for that level it’s good imho - you can always prove you are a st mngr material and get to 500k+ in a year. The only risk for MSFT now is you are not happy and may leave soon or waste time looking around instead of performing.
