linkedin hiring freeze
Seems like linkedin is in a hiring freeze. Sucks cause I was in the middle of the process and my recruiter hasn't reached out to at least let me know it's frozen. anybody here in linkedin, can you offer some perspective. How long has the freeze been out? Have all offers been rescinded or just no new offers extended? #linkedin #hiringfreeze #hiring #interview

I signed an offer two weeks back, just before the shelter in place orders. Luckily not rescinded yet and joining in a couple of weeks.
Did you get a chance to talk to them about the onboarding process?
Yeah. I start onboarding virtually on Monday - there are a bunch of sessions over Zoom. HR sent me the instructions earlier in the week and they sent me the equipment by mail yesterday. I was told there’ll still be a on campus orientation when the shelter orders are lifted.
It's official now. I cracked my interview, after a week they informed me that I have not been rejected, but that they've decided to pause the hiring for this 'role' for now, and will contact me whenever they resume hiring.
