Last october, I had accepted a full time position at a small company (5k headcount). I really liked the director and team who interviewed me and the company's benefits were extraordinary. For the first project(enhancement),I had to work directly with the director ,the application was developed by him and the manager long time ago. It all started when I felt he was completely micro managing me asking status every two hours , cutting down the tasks, setting very aggressive timeline. He kept saying in calls and with others that it's a simple project and it can completed in short time. Didn't get much help from the manager as he was very busy with other team members as the team is 6 months old(effect of great resignation),Everything is in their head and no documentation at all.I am absolutely frustrated with the director approach as he is not understanding that I am new, manager is tied up andno one else is there to guide me to complete the first project. Other team members also felt that the expectations on them were too high.
So everyday is stressful for me as I am working more than 14 hours daily, it takes toll on my mental health.
What to do ? Quit and search for new one ? Will it impact the resume and next job as it is only 2-3 months in this job?

Donโt be trigger happy to quit - same shit happens everywhere and itโs important to know what your tolerance level is. Test it, see what youโre good with, and then decide.
