Why Worshipping Lord Ram Important in Hinduism?
I've been sr/principal/enterprise-y architect for last 5 years (total YoE 14) in retail/ecom, so I've looking at staff/principal positions. Within a week of flipping my LinkedIn availability bit I got pinged by Wayfair, AWS Proserve, Albertsons (lol), Tekion, Rodan&Fields, Centene, UKG plus contractors for NBC, Quest, Inspire. I am ace at systems design but I don't LC well (fluent but not speedy or algo heavy), but in theory that shouldn't be relevant for Arch roles? Nobody seems to be matching the Wayfair and AWS TC levels (300k+). Where else should I be looking with my role/experience? I don't need to stay in retail. Loc: Bay Area TC 250k YoE 14
Architect role interview doesn’t include LC at AWS. But you will have to show a lot of technical depth and experience across the board (unless it’s a specialty role). We will make sure you actually know the technology/pattern/etc you name drop or is in your resume - and find the limits of that knowledge. My advice is to interview at a cloud/saas provider who are looking for technical roles with experience in retail. Companies want people with experience in industries their customers are in. Lean into that and you’ll find higher TC and won’t be stuck in a generalist role.
