Hi everyone, Amazon agreed to file a EB1 on my behalf, what are the time lines for actually getting approved under the EB1 process? Does anyone here have experience with this?

Thanks,

(Edits based on the replies)
Nationality : Indian
Visa sub type : EB1 - B (the lawyers said eb1 for outstanding researcher)

(more details)
a reply referred me to the visa bulletin, according to that currently the EB1 processing date for India is 1 Jan 2015. So if Amazon is only able to file the I 140 by 1 Jan 2020 then does that mean there'll be a wait of 5 years? More importantly I am on OPT right now, is it possible that I will run out of visa during while waiting for I 140 to get approved?

(some more info)
on further googling it had initially seemed to me that following 4 forms could be filed concurrently. But on uscis website I found that employment based applicants can file concurrently only if a visa number is immediately available. But on reading further, I found a chart which shows when an Indian national can file for adjustment of status for employment based pref visa, and that date was 15 March 2017
i140 - immigration petition
i485 - application to adjust status
i765 - employment authorization
i131 - advanced parole

so that means that I won't be able to file concurrently but I will be able to file i485 after roughly 2.5 years right?

Thanks again

    EB1A or EB1B or EB1C ?
All have different timelines with highly variable probability of success. Also depends on your country of birth

Depends on your nationality. There’s backlog in 485 as well

You should assume that it will take longer. 2.5 years is a best case scenario. The initial application and final action dates haven’t moved much the first two months. You should get your EB1 or Perm application (EB2) (Whichever is faster) in as soon as possible to lock in the priority date.
