Had a phone screen a couple of days ago. Did all 3 parts of the question while talking through a solution and debugging. Got a reject email today. Really?

1. Any reason for this?
2. What's the cooldown period?

P.S: don't DM me asking for questions. I'm not going to break the NDA

Blind tax: 300k

    • It probably still is, don’t let a rejection make you see blood. I had a bad experience with Snap interview but I still think they’re a great company that will do great things.

Yeah true! I'm probably going to try again but knowing why this happened would help for the future as well

It's luck based. Our interview training process is essentially non-existent and the questions have different criteria so I wouldn't even be able to tell you where you went wrong unless I knew the question.

Don't worry. You dodged a bullet. Everyone I know hates this place.

  • Same for me, thought I had killed it. Got a rejection like 24 hours later. Emailed for actual feedback because I was curious what I might have missed. They basically sent generic garbage that said they were being more selective. From what I have heard over there, may have dodged a bullet.

Cooldown is 9 months I think

Lots of folks saying they killed the interview but didn’t pass. Perhaps you didn’t kill the interview?
