Is that the case? For some reason I thought the RSU count was determined on vesting rather than before, but they kind of rush through the details.

They just hired an IPO lawyer (and made that info public). They're going to IPO.
I agree it is ridiculous because you miss the biggest incentive to join a startup
pure cash package also means bigger pressure. You need to work hard every year to earn the refresher.
