I thought we were aiming for diversity — but it seems commercials are at least 50% black, when they’re roughly 13% of the population. What is the point of the over representation?

I just saw a T-Mobile commercial with the hockey players being black guys, which isn’t even factually correct.

This is a serious question, I am happy for all people to chime in. What is the point?

  What would be funny about it is that, statistically, that's pretty much the opposite of reality. An anomaly. An exception to the rule. Of course, very rare exceptions take place, but they are certainly not representative of an average reality in America in any way.
