Asset management at bulge bracket banks

Does anybody have any color on asset management or wealth management within BB banks (TC/ culture/ hours)? How do they measure up against the usual suspects like Fidelity, Wellington etc.

  • TC close to 100k at the junior level and can go up to 300k. Hours tend to be pretty good 8 or 9am to ~6pm. Culture tends to be easy going as long as your attention to detail is on point

    • Can confirm (mostly) the above. There are some investment/product teams that do work longer hours (8am to midnight), but par for the course seems to fall in the 8am to 6-7pm bucket. Surprisingly relaxed culture with the occasional fire drill to keep things interesting
