This summer I interned at Cisco. I faced following problems :
1. webex is very bad. Please use google meet.
2. Mentor didn't told problem statement properly, kept changing on what to do every next day. Also no help, I needed to figure out problem statement myself sometimes.
3. No goodies.
4. No energy and motivation seen among manager and mentor.
5.Also they gave PPO, where they offered peanuts. I declined.
You might think I am bad, but I interned in some other company year back and I have very positive thoughts for it even though it was smaller than Cisco.
Do you think there is some fault in me ? In the end I completed all tasks assigned.

No enthusiasm, no energy, old tech stack and people sitting here for 15-25 years.
Good luck for your future.
