why is it so tough to get a job in PD or Verification for new grads? even after completing several projects and trainings - the kind which universities don’t even talk about but the industry expects- still end up without a job after several calls with the only feedback that the hiring manager expects/prefer more experiences person!
Not to boast, I do have some great projects in my resume and can share it if you want to have a look at it - and I’m open to opportunities.

not just the companies that I have tagged

I know for the fact that these companies hire a lot of new college grads throughout the year. Maybe you got unlucky.
I can understand if they are anal about hiring only experienced candidates for RTL, but for PD or verif that's definitely not the case from being an insider point of view.

I would have completely agreed with you if it was just a single company that did this or maybe I was hard done by them. It is true that they have a lot of new grad openings but I never received a single call for those kind of openings, got calls only for experienced roles where the recruiter thinks I have a good profile but the hiring manager does not believe in projects when there is no experience

Had the same issue due to lack of work experience after grad school. Sadly, just had to keep trying. PM me if you still need help. Good luck! :)
