What is your taxable investment strategy? How long have you been doing it & how have the returns been?

I will start:
Investments: Wealthfront risk level 8, with tax loss harvesting, etc (also do crypto but not counting here)
Time: 7 years
Annualized returns: About 10%

TC ~300k

  • Investments: YOLO call options
    Time: 11 months
    Annualized return: 1300%
    TC: 160k

That's right, I made as much in 11 months as wealthfront would make in 50 years, and that's not even counting inflation

Great job! Now please take all your returns and invest in the same strategy again that you advised here, remember 100% of it, don’t compromise or we’ll question your conviction in your own advice. You will be multi-millionaire in no time. Good job! 👏 Please keep at it and report to us how it’s going.

    • Wow somebody's salty. It's amusing that it didn't even occur to you that my strategy doesn't involve 100% investment at all times, I keep some cash on the sidelines for dips. Remember this thread is only "taxable" investments. Thanks for playing though, please try again.

Real estate. With depreciation and leverage you can easily hit 20-25% per year over long periods of time.
