microsoft interview

seems so hard to even get an interview for microsoft. I’ve interviewed 3 of the faang and a couple other companies but haven’t even heard back once from microsoft. If anyone wants to refer me or give me some tips let me know. yoe:3 mostly backend java/c++

+1 even I don't know why it's so hard to get an interview from them. 🙄🙄 and I've interviewed with F/G/A/U.

Maybe interview is easier, but getting the interview like that first screen seems extra hard

Team-based hiring combined with crappy, disorganized contract recruiters with narrow charters. They're more likely to approach you if you're in a secondary market or company (because they think you're more likely to take a lowball offer). If you set your location to Seattle on LinkedIn they'll probably hit you with spam messages for one of their cattle call hiring events several times per year. Probably not the best way to go in, but it'll work.
