is there a comprehensive msft benefits document like a handbook or something that i can access publicly?
full context- (long post sorry)
i have an ms offer signed and accepted, visa transfer pending.
however i just recently found out we’re pregnant and due early next year. i have communicated this to my recruiter and while she was supportive at the outset, her tone seemed a little disappointing and she was suggesting to phrase this very softly to my hiring manager- as in asked me not to declare outright that ill be gone a forr good half year in 2021, rather highlight more on what ill be bringing to the table and how ill add a lot of benefit before i go on maternity. honestly, thats kind off playing on my anxiety.. i have a very flexible and accomodating job/team where im at right now. i dont know how the coming months will be for my health and i know for a fact i will not be able to put in my 100%. im in a dilemma here on if i should just stick to my current comfortable job or venture into new territory where i know nothing about how my manager or team will support me.
to add to this, id like to make a very thorough comparison of maternity benefits between intel and ms. i know the basic details as in how much time off they both provide, but i need more info regarding pre-natal accomodations and new parent integration. also, itd be really great to know what insurance is provided by ms in california(currently in ca and no plans of relocation until i have my baby). i wish to continue with my existing medical providers and hence this is also a crucial piece of info.
will greatly appreciate any insight/info here. thanks!
