microsoft negotiating offer on initial compensation call?
im supposed to have a call to discuss an offer this week. im expecting l60. i feel like i may get a lowball offer of like 115/10/15 or something similar because it was a hiring event i would be very happy with 115/50/25, should i ask for this immediately during the call? or should i ask for a few days then try to negotiate over email? i would like to get the offer process done asap

Location? Never bring up number first, you can negotiate for higher stock easier than base.
Will be in Redmond. I’m expecting the recruiter to give me the numbers, but I’m thinking they will be low because it’s a hiring event. I have an idea of a number to counter with already, just wondering if it’s a bad idea to try to negotiate immediately after getting the initial offer
