Infosys Data Scientist Compensation
What should be the salary I should be asking to Infosys Data Science team? Currently I have an offer of TC 120k from a Fintech company. YOE: 3 years. FYI: I am aware of Infosys

Are you currently a data scientist?
Infosys doesnāt do data science work. IBM tried to pull this shit and hired a bunch of data scientists into the Services org and they recently laid off everybody.
What does a data scientist do at Infosys?
Client has a problem statement, we do cool data stuff and solve the problem.... unfortunately ādata scienceā is very broad and clients expect you to be a data engineer, model builder, dashboard/webapp creator, project manager, and business analyst at once.
Fin tech will prob be higher, but you will miss opportunity to work at big name clients. They are assholes about salary negotiation donāt expect them to bend the knee but doesnāt hurt to ask
If you are aware of Infosys then there is not much to discuss š On serious note, i knew my ex-victim friends, I think it is location based in addition to lower range.
