Hi all. We are looking at this area of 94087 zoned to Cupertino schools. The elementary school is West Valley elementary.
Going by comments and reviews on google/yelp/greatschools, this school seems to have had a complete staff turnover in 2016. While it's rated 9/10, I wanted to see if anyone had any personal experience or information about the elementary school.
Thank you.

All 3 schools are close by and all teachers that turned over came from the same district. They also now have higher standard of teaching due to that turnover as they want to prove themselves. I would definitely recommend the school and the location. It’s tough to win the bidding wars but if you can manage it then it’s a great place to live
There is a small part of 94087 that is west of Hwy 85, immediately adjacent to Los Altos - Belleville Way which is where West Valley elementary is located. Would you have any info/feedback on that neighborhood? It seems a bit secluded compared to rest of 94087 which is on the other side of Hwy 85 (around Fremont/Mary Ave). Does that smaller stretch near Belleville way have parks etc.?
I now advise my friends to not spend a ton more to buy a house in a good public school district, instead use a fraction of that on private schools ( if good school truly matter to you)
If you are buying for the location, it’s great. But if you are mainly spending extra for schools, I would advise against it.
