There has to be some real agenda behind companies pushing this pronouns thing. If folks do not want to use pronouns to identify themselves they should not be pressured to do so.
If you want to identify yourself using pronouns because it might not be apparent, then by all means, go ahead, but why pressurize the remaining 97% population and go down the slippery slope of infringing their freedom of speech.
I agree, do whatever you want but I have no interest in โsharing my pronounsโ. Stereotype threat is a real phenomenon, also as a female engineer I donโt particularly WANT to be constantly reminding my male coworkers that I am female. Itโs just going to make it harder for them to overcome their biases towards me.
Really, you have to walk on eggshells? Do you just go around thinking of abusive things to say to people and have to expend great, unfathomable mental effort to not say horrible things to your coworkers? If you make an honest mistake, no one is going to pillory you. But if you continue to make that "honest mistake" of misgendering someone over and over and over again, maybe you're not the kind person you think you are?
I think itโs funny how sensitive the LGBTP must be if people simply (and correctly) calling you sir instead of maโam is considered being abusive. You people need to grow up and face reality.

Also: my pronouns are hehe/haha

But you guys are literally getting offended by people that get easily offended by a word. Itโs literally just a word. Why so much angst?
Btw I identify as a he/him but donโt care if you call me a she/her/they/bro/unicorn etc
