Previously had a 110k TC at Tesla right out of college in the bay area, after seeing how terrible my salary was compared to others I leetcoded, did system design prep, and went through several interviews at practice companies and then companies I actually wanted to work at and managed to get an SDE 2 position with 240k TC in Seattle.

Edit: I misunderstood, you're saying 180k base, whole the other guy is saying 160k total comp. At L5, your rsu component is 40-50% of total comp.
