Any thoughts on moving from Pharmaceuticals to a more medical device company ? Specially Gilead to Abbott? Commercial marketing department #gilead #abbott
Hey can you refer me to Gilead Sciences?
Serious? Amazon to Gilead?
Looking to take that $300k TC hit in favor of that sweet, sweet WLB , looks like
I work with device in elective procedures. Marketing with us is more physician and practice based - working with physicians to find & identify more patients. Bigger hospital systems and networks looks a bit different and is usually tougher to navigate, but much more opportunity marketing-wise.
What channels do you use for marketing when working with physicians to find patients? Is there a larger move to social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
Facebook is big since our patient demographic is usually 45+
Interesting to see questions like this here. I thought Blind was mostly for tech
Tech stuff is usually all I see. Love seeing stuff related to healthcare!
Too many dedicated apps/sites for tech, need some more for meddev, pharma, biotech, healthcare! Wish we had a levels.fyi
I have only seen people moving from Abbott medical device to Gilead/pharma, not the other way around. In general, pharma pays more than medical device.
Hi, I’m looking for a referral for Abbott Mfg engineer position in TX, can you help me!
I’m not too familiar with marketing, though one big thing is probably that there is less direct to consumer advertising in med devices compared with pharma. So most marketing may focus more on hospitals, KOLs, and GPOs.
