Companies have trainings on how to use a keyboard and not hurt your wrist. But everyone is silent on this bombshell report by UN. Overwork literally kills people. When will the tech industry acknowledge this.

  • Part of the issue is overworking becomes rewarded and then normalized at a good chunk of tech firms which doesn’t help :/

    Especially with the presence of international worker abuse/employment dangling by companies, they can quickly set and milk long work hour expectations from workers dependent on their job to even stay in the country, who in turn set the bar/expectation of overwork almost

    Not surprised. #1 killer in US is heart disease. Overwork and constant stress contribute. Stress makes your cells age quicker too.
