Had 10 onsites, all rejections from Uber, Pinterest, Airbnb, google, amazon, opendoor, doordash, hyperloop, Apple and even more phone interview rejections over the last 3 months. Feeling kind of down and lost. I think I’m experiencing interview burnout after 250+ LC and 50% of interviewbit and studying system design. I know the only way forward is to just keep going, but I’ve applied to everywhere I’d like to work and not sure where else to apply. Can you guys suggest anywhere interesting to work or have any referrals?

  • I was out of job for nearly 4 months! Outright rejection from companies I don't even admire. Getting a job is like going on a date - there is a 50% chance that it would work out and a 50% it won't. What you can do to tip the scales in your favor is to focus on jobs you truly enjoy doing because that is how your passion and energy will shine through during the interview, and boy, those are really great vibes to emanate! Meanwhile, stay the course, take time out to look after yourself and your health. Life is more than just work and you wont regret spending more time on yourself at your death bed.

  • You're probably good enough at answering questions technically given the leetcode, but there are probably issues with how you're answering them. Your attitude, how you describe your thought process, what you say when you run into problems, all play a role in the holistic determination of how well you did.

    Say "Chinese new year"
Because the date is decided by position of BOTH moon and SUN. Not just moon.
