Any positives of choosing Amazon? all the signs weigh heavily towards choosing LinkedIn. Any room for negotiating more? Also, how difficult is it to get refreshers at Linkedin? Getting mixed responses about the possibility of refreshers in LinkedIn.

What about this applied research engineer role? Is this an ML role and are you phd?
I am born 20 years early
And what are your educational qualifications ?
Also, if there's no TC upside IDK why you would consider Amazon.😅
I'm have a B.Tech in CS.
My work won’t be in ML. Is it really ML role?
Also was this Li initial offer?
I guess it’s cuz I am from MS and my vesting sould be diff.
With 32.5 base and 100k stocks, i feel lowballed now
Quick advice, say no to the offer and apply other place.
Op is ml engineer not a leetcode monkey and booking knowledge of system design.
Amazon pros: SLIGHTLY better brand name("FAANG"). MAYBE good TC growth if you work really hard, deliver good results and have a decent relation with manager.
I'd go for LinkedIn without any doubts.
Down the line if you don't like your work at LinkedIn or if you really want to work at Amazon try after a few years for higher levels.
