Hi all, most companies where I am applying for jobs have private health insurance, does this generally cover pre-existing medical conditions? I am trying to get an operation on the NHS but now wondering if I may as well wait until I get a job so it can be done privately. Thanks

Worth verifying because my current employer’s health insurance doesn’t cover pre-existing conditions. They might be in the minority though.

If you use private, you could skip the waitlist or reduce it.
However it might take some days to interview and get a job, so you can start the process with NHS now.
