Got an FT offer from Ford motors and TC is 135k 16 k bonus eligibility and 30 k Rsus
Current TC is 110k with 15% bonus and 20k rsus eligibility.

Is it a good move ? Need some recommendations from ford employees.

    • I go from cynical hate to kind of liking the fact that I realistically work very few hours a week. But I used to work more on the PM/mechanical/electrical side.

Not too long ago I moved to a swe role in a brand new team so I don't yet have a good opinion of this side of the company.

But otherwise the culture and people are really great. Just the pay mid-late career isn't the most competitive. But it is really good for the hours worked.

I'd think 150k base is appropriate for that YOE

Ford is probably the shittiest company, if we do a wide range poll. I think you can do much better! good luck

TBH it looks pretty low, both current and new.
I make 150k base on a startup as senior engineer and I even work from Brazil. Have other friends who make similar or more even remote overseas.

I have 14 yoe, and I consider myself underpaid, but being remote overseas reduce my job pool a bunch. But I'm looking now and targeting 180-200k
