Amazon.com needs to improve its quality control
I love Amazon.com but shopping there is becoming tiresome. I have to spend hours researching items, filtering reviews by U.S. only, and then checking fakespot to see they are fake reviews or not (and it's not very accurate, sometimes get false positives). Buying products on Amazon is always a gamble.
I like shopping at Costco because they have quality control. They have a generous return policy (return anything anytime) so they do basic QC on products and won't sell something that is crap or is performing poorly (getting a lot of returns). The problem is of course they don't have nearly as many products as Amazon and you must go in person and make a big trip out of going to Costco (or buy online which is not as fast as Amazon prime). Whereas Amazon lets anything with 2 legs (or even a robot hitting keys on a keyboard) sell anything under the sun w/o any quality control.
