I see a lot of people ask you to invest in relationships and not run after money because it is so materialistic and selfish. On the contrary, I believe money is the only thing that is truly loyal to you. Money can solve most of your problems. Try losing money and see if your SO still cares for you , your friends still like you. People will leave you if you hit troughs in your life, in those dark days when you need friends, spouse to support you, no one will come to rescue. But money will. People’s perception change based on your TC and net worth. A lot of people like and respect me because I have a high tc and work for a reputed company. They listen to what I say and think that since I am making so much money whatever I say must be right. These same people considered me average back in the days when I was working for a shitty company with bad TC. A friend of mine was dating a girl for the past 2 years and proposed to get married. The girl did not say yes and kept saying that she is not sure yet. Few days ago my friends company was acquired by Google and his TC increased. The same girl has now agreed to get married. People are with you as long as you satisfy their need and greed while money will be there through thick and thin. #MoneyIsEverything
Gold digger spotted for your friend
I agree with you 120%
Nothing in life is guaranteed. Whenever you have something good in life, like a great partner, it's not yours, but it's on loan from the universe. Here's a secret, though: your most important relationship is your relationship with yourself, and all other relationships spring from that. Become a better person and that's the currency you can take everywhere, regardless of who enters and leaves your life. Relationships are the only thing that amounts to jack diddly squat in this world. They're not permanent or guaranteed, but that's not the point.
^^^^ OP, keep this comment in mind even if you don't fully agree now. Eventually most people reach at the same or a similar conclusion.. now and many hundreds of years back
Almost felt like I wasn't on Blind for a few minutes, props to wording it so nicely. Are you a poet by any chance? Where does one learn to write like this?
Piece of shit like you won’t stick by his friends side in a first place, you get what you are.
