I want to preface this by saying I'm normally a very indoor person and introverted. I also don't drive.

For a while now my friends keep going to these national parks where they hike and do adventure stuff , which I'm totally not into. Most days I don't mind, but I sometimes feel left behind. I also recently got dumped after a long term relationship and I really want to away from men.

I want to know where can I go by myself , with minimal reliance on car - somewhere with pretty beaches, maybe some view points or just general slow beautiful town like life. I also don't like hostels and stuff, and prefer staying in places which I would consider a treat to myself.

Anyone have any ideas or infact any other woman interested in this kind of plan? Would like to remain in the US

I mean, you'd have to be quite daft to not see the obvious. It's about Pakistan and it's on a website that's disproportionately Indian. Even on websites where small fraction of the people are Indian, it's almost always Indians that initiate this kind of trolling or discussion. Here you would have to be a very daft to not see that.

You haven't been in the same position as me or people from Pakistan so you clearly haven't noticed the pattern or trend. It's obvious as hell when you are on the other side. No other nationality is even 1% as obsessed with Pakistan as India.

You ask why do I care who cares who brings up what. I am not going to make this personal about me. I want to keep personal stuff out of this. Perhaps the only general point I will make is people have preferences.

Well…I do not see many people from Pakistan writing replies to the comments about traveling to Pakistan…except for you, Oracle. So I guess you personally care about it a lot and other people just go with the flow.

Singles cruises are filled with people who can’t get laid in regular conditions. Avoid at all costs.

Apple, great! What regions did you travel? Did you stay in resorts at the seaside or went to eastern parts?

I also traveled there, not solo, but there were 2 other females with me, and while Istanbul, Alanya, Antalya, Kemer and Izmir were very tourist places, when we went towards Ankara, Adana, Uludag and Elazig, we definitely didn’t feel very welcome. It was absolutely fine, but there were always looks, as if someone is continuously watching us, and a couple times we had to skip catching taxi because we were not sure about our security. So I think experiences differ, but a lot of things depend on region. The further you are from the seaside, the more it becomes like a closed society where newcomers are not very welcome.

  • Kawaii. It is the most slow paced relaxing island in Hawaii. It felt very safe to me and I liked the small town feel

Yep, plenty of accessible beaches with parking lot access and plenty of nice viewpoints available via road. There's a lot of great hiking available, but by no means required to access most things.

How is it compared to big island? We’ve been to Maui and loved it! Now thinking of making a trip to another island and need to decide Big Island vs Kauai.
