Have offers from Amazon, lyft, TikTok, Airbnb, startup. (Might be getting meta offer, not 100% sure, should hear back in a day or two)
Chime (l4): ~350k (this is way past deadline)
Amazon (l5) ~460k
Airbnb (l5) ~400k + 40k sign on
Lyft (t5) ~430k + 50k sign on
TikTok (2-2) ~450k + 50k sign on
Saas Biotech Startup: 170k base + 1% equity at seed, but clear path to series A at around ~70m-100m valuation, likely principal eng and have to build a team
Culture-wise: chime or Airbnb would be best and tiktok or Amazon would be worst.
Been a pretty hard decision, I’m leaning towards the startup given the space, the team, chance to set direction, define culture, have a budget to build a team, and I am risk taker. But is there something I am going to missing out career-wise / personal-wise if I take the startup?
Blind has typically been risk-adverse, non-startup types, so would like to hear some input.
