Meta: L5, 176K base, 15% bonus, 440K RSU total
Google: 160K base, 15% bonus, 345K RSU total (frontloaded), 27K Sign-On Bonus
Location: Austin, TX
essentially Google "beat" Meta using frontloading and sign-on, I feel like I'm at the lower end of the band for Meta E5 and the upper end of the Google L4. I might be able to get Meta to come up a little more. Thoughts? Will refreshers make up for frontloading? PIP risk? WL balance?
rough google projection not considering refreshers:
Y1 ~324K
Y2 ~297K
Y3 ~260K
y4 ~225K
meta TC ~310K
#meta #google
Current TC ~130K YOE 7

The internet doesnโt run on Facebook/Metaverse but it does all go through google search. Plus better wlb and brand name for future opportunities.
But I agree with jumping ship after 2 years
Even Amazon offered 300k for 3YOE in Austin at L5 in late 2020.
