I m doing the same and the attorney said they have never seen a person with computer science degree denied the visa. The concerns however are on travel, if it takes about 7-9 month
@morstories what are you talking about? Currently there is a premium processing ban on all h1b applications including so called "transfers". So no 1 week approval atleast until the ban stays
^ Oh shit. Forgot about premium processing thingy... :( mine was still under premium processing and it took 4 days to get receipt from USCIS and 2 more days to get approval.
Without premium processing I would expect the same timeline for receipt (the point when you legally can switch jobs), but actual approval will (most likely) take much longer. Hail Trump
