I am planning to go with BMW 3 series. Any advice whether to buy or lease? Pretty confused.

Alternative advice: buy a lightly used still under factory warranty. You save a TON of money and are guaranteed everything is Gucci for the next 1-2 years

Do you plan on keeping the car for a long time (6+ years)? If so, buy it. I look at the current vehicle market kind of the way the cell phone market was before iPhone / smartphones became ubiquitous. There are rapid advancements in automotive tech right now - if that's something you care about, I'd recommend a lease. Chances are in 2020 the landscape of vehicle tech in the 3-series segment will look quite different than it does right now. With a lease you'd just turn it in after 3 years and pick up whatever you want to replace it.

You can sell a car you own and get a new one right away too ;) Getting in/out of a lease is a pain and definitely not free.
Buy cars cash... borrow money for a house.

You never want to buy BMW. Unless you buy it out of your own lease.
